Skilled in ETL tools, data mapping, and integration (CPI, IDOC, OData). Strong knowledge of HR data, payroll, and SAP structures. Experienced in complex, multi-system environments.

Job Responsibilities

  • Define and manage the data migration strategy aligned with SuccessFactors EC and S/4HANA HCM rollout.
  • Establish data selection rules (what to migrate vs. archive/delete) in line with legal, regulatory, and GDPR requirements.
  • Create and maintain data inventory, mapping specifications, and transformation rules.
  • Define archiving and data retention/destruction approaches with proper controls and approvals.
  • Set up governance frameworks (RACI, risk/issue management, reporting, dashboards).
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and business stakeholders on scope, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Analyse source systems (SAP ECC HCM and non-SAP), including data objects, tables, and custom fields.
  • Define target data structures in SuccessFactors and S/4HANA.
  • Lead data mapping and transformation logic (e.g., value mapping, data conversions, historical handling).
  • Design and execute ETL processes: extract, cleanse, transform, and load data.
  • Use migration and integration tools (e.g., Spenifex, Data Conversion Manager, SAP BIB, CPI).
  • Ensure data quality through validation rules, error handling, and reconciliation checks.
  • Plan and execute mock data loads; track and resolve data issues.
  • Drive data cleansing and define “golden source” rules.
  • Monitor and report data quality using KPIs and scorecards.
  • Support cutover planning, dry runs, and performance optimisation.
  • Define and support end-to-end testing (unit, SIT, UAT, parallel runs).
  • Ensure data accuracy through testing and validation activities.

Must Have Skills

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in data migration, including at least 3 years in HR data, delivering complex, enterprise-scale, multi-system migrations.
  • Proven experience in SAP HCM data migration projects, particularly with SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and S/4HANA.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with data migration and integration tools (e.g., Infoporter, Spinifex, DCM, SAP BIB, CPI, IDOC, OData services).
  • SAP certification in SuccessFactors EC and/or SAP Integration Suite is preferred.
  • Experience working in hybrid SAP HCM landscapes and phased rollout environments.
  • Solid knowledge of HR master data, organisational structures, and payroll-related data.
  • Strong understanding of data mapping and transformation techniques.
  • Good knowledge of SAP ECC HCM modules (PA/OM, Time, Payroll, Benefits) and data structures (infotypes, clusters), including exposure to custom Z-tables.
  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors Employee Central data model, object types, and structures.
  • Fluent in Dutch, French, and English (minimum B2 level in all three).

Nice to have
