Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Architect / Senior .NET Architect to lead the design, development, and technical governance of enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in .NET technologies, modern UI frameworks, microservices architecture, Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices. You will play a key role in defining technical architecture, mentoring development teams, ensuring code quality, and driving the adoption of best development practices while collaborating closely with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical architecture and design of enterprise applications using modern .NET technologies.
  • Report project and application progress to project leaders and technical management.
  • Review, validate, and challenge functional and technical specifications.
  • Ensure high code quality by conducting code reviews and promoting development best practices.
  • Follow organizational development standards, architectural guidelines, and technology frameworks.
  • Design scalable, secure, and maintainable application architectures.
  • Provide technical leadership and coaching to multiple development teams.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to refine technical solutions and challenge functional requirements where appropriate.
  • Coordinate technical activities across multiple Scrum teams during sprint execution.
  • Facilitate technical workshops and architecture discussions with developers and solution architects.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide architectural guidance.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing solutions. 

Must Have Skills

  • Technical Architect level expertise or extensive experience as a Senior .NET Developer.
  • Strong experience designing and delivering modern UI solutions with a strong focus on user experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Microfrontend Architecture.
  • Strong expertise in Blazor or another modern front-end framework.
  • Extensive experience with Microservices Architecture.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles.
  • Experience with Kubernetes (Pods, Services, Ingress, Networking, and Cluster Concepts).
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud services.
  • Experience with Helm deployments and Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines.
  • Strong experience creating architecture documentation using UML, ArchiMate, or similar modelling standards.
  • Experience with Unit Testing, Feature Testing, and Mocking Frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and technical leadership abilities.
  • Fluent English (C1 level). 

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of German, French, or Dutch.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring software development teams.
  • Experience leading multiple Agile/Scrum development teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience organizing collaborative architecture and technical design sessions.
  • Strong decision-making and prioritization skills.
  • Passion for continuous learning and exploring emerging technologies.
