Overview
Seasoned ETL Developer (+Java) with 8+ years of experience and strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, large-scale data environments (20TB Oracle and Sybase IQ), and advanced SQL (complex queries and optimisation). Brings solid knowledge of Java (Java, Spring Boot, Maven) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and data governance or regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR).
Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimise ETL pipelines (Informatica PowerCenter) for large-scale data processing (20TB databases: Oracle, Sybase IQ).
- Develop Java applications (Java, Spring Boot, Maven, etc.).
- Scheduling and monitoring batch processing, dependency management, and performance tuning.
- Contribute to technical depth, complexity navigation, and solution evolution.
- Support automation initiatives (automation is a bonus).
Must Have Skills
- At least 8 years of experience.
- Expertise in ETL tools (Informatica PowerCenter) and big data (20TB Oracle, Sybase IQ).
- Advanced SQL (complex queries, optimisation).
- Good knowledge of Java (Java, Spring Boot, Maven, etc.)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines or DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of data governance or regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR).
- Eager to learn and build solutions with expert support.
- Potential to evolve into key roles (e.g., release management).
- Ability to work in dynamic, multi-cultural environments.
