Overview
Change and Release Manager with strong expertise in Release and Change Management, ITIL Foundation certified, and skilled in Azure DevOps, business analysis, cross-functional coordination, and documentation. Leads end-to-end change and release processes, ensures KPIs and SLAs, manages incidents, challenges service providers, drives process improvements, and collaborates across teams to ensure successful and compliant delivery.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate the end-to-end Change & Release process and ensure alignment across impacted teams.
- This includes working in close relations with IT Managers from various services to ensure readiness, risk assessment, validation, and successful execution of changes and releases.
- Participate actively in the BAU Change & Release processes and coordinate releases in alternance with the current Change Manager.
- Collaborate with Candriam application teams and service providers to prepare, evaluate, and execute releases.
- Maintain operational oversight of change and release tasks, ensuring processes are respected and improvements are implemented where required.
- Challenge service providers to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance with agreed procedures.
- Serve as the designated backup Incident Manager, taking full ownership of Incident Management activities when the primary Incident Manager, is unavailable.
- Drive the coordination, communication, and resolution of major incidents.
- Ensure accurate incident reporting, root-cause analysis follow-up, and post-incident review quality.
- Maintain operational readiness to step into the role at any time.
- Participate in or prepare for internal and external audits related to ITIL processes (Change, Release, Incident).
- Identify opportunities to improve or redesign processes, aligning them with best practices and operational needs.
- Document procedures, controls, and metrics for Change, Release, and Incident Management.
- Ensure KPIs, SLAs, and quality standards are met and properly monitored.
Must Have Skills
- Solid background in IT process management, audits, and continuous improvement
- Strong expertise in Release and Change Management at project and program levels
- Solid background in Business Analysis and cross-functional requirements coordination
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps
- Ability to challenge service providers to ensure quality, reliability, and compliance
- Coordination and communication across multiple functions
- Ability to participate in internal and external audits related to ITIL processes
- ITIL Foundation certified
- Skilled in documentation of procedures, controls, and metrics for Change, Release, and Incident Management
- Ensuring KPIs, SLAs, and quality standards are monitored and met
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities across technical and functional teams
- Fluent in French with strong command of English and ability to understand Dutch
