Overview
Experienced Automation Test Engineer with 5+ years of overall experience in software testing and at least 3 years in test automation. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in agile methodologies (ideally Scrum) and possess deep knowledge of structured programming (preferably with Python) along with hands-on experience using the Robot Framework. Candidates must have strong expertise in test management and automation tools/frameworks, such as Azure DevOps, Robot Framework, and JMeter. A solid understanding of databases (ideally MSSQL) and working knowledge of REST APIs (preferably with Postman) is essential. The role requires proven skills in test automation across APIs/web services, web, and mobile applications, as well as system integration testing. This role offers limited possibility to work from home — maximum 1 day per week.
Job Responsibilities
- Deep knowledge of Structured Programming (ideally with Python) and experience with Robot Framework.
- Strong knowledge of test management and automation tools/frameworks (ideally Azure DevOps, Robot Framework, JMeter).
- Experienced in databases (ideally MSSQL) and REST API (ideally Postman).
- Skilled in test automation for APIs/web services, web and mobile applications, and system integration testing.
- At least basic/moderate knowledge with each of the following: Functional and Non-functional testing, Banking sector (specifically with credit cards or payment processes), UAT execution or coordination, Automation reporting and test automation governance, Administration of test automation tools, maintenance of the test ecosystem, and consistency of automation test artifacts in source tool management (Git, SVN).
Must Have Skills
- University degree (Bachelor's or higher) in an IT-oriented field.
- Minimum 5 years of overall experience in testing.
- At least 2 years of experience in agile methodologies (ideally Scrum).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in test automation.
- Good level of English (oral and written), as it is the primary communication language.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in French is a plus.
- Python development experience.
- Experience with Temenos Transact Core Banking System.
- ISTQB certification (Foundational or Advanced level).
- Previous experience as Business Analyst or Developer (or similar) could be an asset.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
