Overview
Automation Test Engineer with 5+ years of experience in designing and executing automated tests using Python, Playwright/Selenium, and Robot Framework. Skilled in system integration, functional and non-functional testing, mobile automation, UAT, and CI/CD workflows. Strong background in banking systems, APIs, databases, and Git, with excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Deep knowledge of structured, object-oriented programming in Python using Playwright (Selenium acceptable) and the Requests library.
- Experience using VS Code for Python automation development and debugging.
- Usage of test management and automation tools and frameworks, ideally Azure DevOps and Robot Framework.
- Working knowledge of SQL (ideally MSSQL) and NoSQL databases (ideally Cosmos DB).
Must Have Skills
- A least 5 years of experience.
- Experience in system integration testing.
- Experience in functional and non-functional testing.
- Proficiency in Git workflows and repository management, with a basic understanding of the SDLC.
- Experience in test automation for mobile applications.
- Experience in UAT execution or coordination.
- Background in the banking sector, especially credit cards and payment processes.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Postman for REST API testing is a plus.
- Experience with Temenos Transact core banking system (preferred).
- ISTQB certification (foundational or advanced) (preferred).
- RFCP (Robot Framework Certified Professional) (preferred).
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Result-oriented, structured, and organized.
