This position is both creative and rigorous by nature you need to think

Responsibilities

You are responsible
for the implementation of new functionalities, fixing of bugs, solving
operational issues and contributing to the definition of user stories.

You deliver robust,
secure and well-tested mobile apps in .NET/Xamarin for the Android platform.
- You collaborate with the UI/UX designer to ensure an optimal experience for the end users.

You integrate with
(REST) API’s as well as external systems (identity provider, 3th party apps,
push notifications...).
- You manage the mobile tooling, build pipelines and release flow.
- You proactively monitor the occurrence of errors and performance issues in the different environments.
- You report to the technical lead and the product owner of the team.
- You see documentation as an essential part of your deliverables.
- You actively participate in Agile and Scrum ceremonies.

Testing,
documentation, preparation and support of releases are as well part of the
responsibilities of the development team.
Must Have
- At least 8 years of experience.
- Excellent software development skills: C#/.NET, Git version control and unit testing.

Excellent knowledge
of the Android SDK and the .NET Mobile/Xamarin libraries.

Experience with Azure
DevOps, AppCenter and Play Store.
- Deep knowledge as end-user of JIRA and Confluence.
- Knowledge of security best practices.
- Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.
- Experience as member of a development/delivery team.
- Result oriented and team player mindset.
- Belgian residency and on-premises availability up to 5 days a week.
Nice to have
- Good to have language command in either French (B2+) or Dutch (B2+)
- Experience in the railway sector is a plus.
