Overview
Technical Lead (Java) with 5+ years of relevant experience, mastery of Java, DevOps expertise, cloud knowledge, security acumen, Scrum experience, and an Agile mindset. Leads development guidelines, coaches developers, ensures alignment with IT stakeholders, drives software architecture and delivery, acts as local ambassador for initiatives, participates in Change Management, and supports successful, compliant development in banking/financial projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Establishing and documenting guidelines and best practices for development.
- Ensuring buy-in and follow-up on the implementation of guidelines in the agile tribes.
- Supporting developers in the tribes, providing coaching and mentoring as needed.
- Collaboration with other technical leaders (analysis, testing, process, ...) to ensure a transversal alignment to cover mutual requirements.
- Engaging with local IT stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication (Architecture, Infrastructure, Risk & Security, ...).
- Act as local ambassador for the company initiatives and requirements in the scope of development (AI for developers, security champions, ...).
- Act as a representant of team in the Change Management Board (CAB) to validate the change requests.

Reporting to the Head of Center of Expertise Application Development & Maintenance with close collaboration with the IT Tribe Leads.
Must Have Skills
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Mastery of programming languages (Java), techniques, best practices, and standards
- Experience in Delivery Management (preferred)
- Experience in Software Architecture (preferred)
- Strong DevOps expertise and cloud knowledge
- Security acumen is required
- Experience with Scrum
- Agile mindset
- Experience in the Banking/Financial sector (preferred)
