Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP CO Consultant to deliver and manage first- and second-line support for our SAP Controlling environment. In this role, you will own the full change-request lifecycle — from analysis through go-live — and play a key part in blueprint and fit-gap exercises for controlling processes (planning, CO-OM, CO-PC, CO-PA), including integrations with third-party tools, master data, and interfaces with other SAP areas.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver and manage end-to-end SAP CO first- and second-line support, ensuring timely resolution of operational issues.
- Handle change requests from analysis through design, build, testing, and go-live.
- Participate in blueprint and fit-gap workshops for controlling processes, covering planning, CO-OM (Overhead Cost Controlling), CO-PC (Product Costing), and CO-PA (Profitability Analysis).
- Manage integrations with third-party tools, master data, and grey zones shared with other SAP modules.
- Partner with business process owners to capture requirements and align solutions with business needs.
- Estimate efforts and effort impacts for proposed changes and enhancements.
- Create functional designs and impact analyses, and configure the SAP system accordingly.
- Write clear functional and technical specifications for development teams.
- Document solutions and perform unit and integration testing to ensure quality.
- Onboard business users, provide training support, and deliver go-live assistance.
- Contribute to S/4HANA project phases as they become available.
Must Have Skills
- 10+ years of hands-on SAP CO expertise, covering planning, CO-OM, CO-PC, and CO-PA.
- Master's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Native speaker (C2 level) of either Dutch or French, with fluent professional proficiency (minimum C1, spoken and written) in the other language.
- Fluent professional proficiency (minimum C1, spoken and written) in English.
- Hands-on knowledge of SAP integration with e-Drive, Hastus, Robin, and Erex.
- Willingness to be on-site in Brussels a minimum of three days per week, with mandatory presence on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
Nice to have
- Experience with or exposure to S/4HANA implementation or migration projects.
- Prior involvement in full-lifecycle change management and go-live support for controlling processes.
