Responsibilities
- Conduct a thorough analysis of the risks associated with AI development and deployment, with a focus on model risk, IT risk, privacy risk, and ethical risk.
- Develop a comprehensive risk management framework that addresses these risks and provides guidance on how to mitigate them.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that the risk management framework is properly implemented and integrated into the organization's processes and procedures.
- Monitor the effectiveness of the risk management framework and adjust as needed to ensure that risks are properly managed.
- A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to stay up to date with regulatory developments.
- Hybrid Mode of Working: 50% on site and 50% homeworking.

Must Have
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in data science or risk project management (preferably in complex organizations and in the financial industry).
- Master’s degree, business, engineering, sciences, or AI
(candidates with other academic backgrounds with good knowledge of analytics are also encouraged to apply).
- Strong understanding of AI development and deployment, including the risks associated with model development, IT infrastructure, data privacy, and ethical considerations.
- Experience in AI regulation and compliance, including a deep understanding of the impact of the new AI Act regulation and GDPR.
- Extensive experience in risk management, with a focus on AI-related risks. Proven track record of developing and implementing effective risk management frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks in a timely and effective manner.
- Fluent knowledge of English (spoken and written).
- Satisfactory level of French and/or Dutch (both is a plus).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Can-do attitude and are always willing to find solutions and new ways to improve.
- Accurate and with a structured and well-organized approach.
- Resilience and drive in order to move forward with assignments.
- Good management capabilities, both in terms of actions and Stakeholders.
Nice to have

Experience in the technical measure for ethical bias measurement in data and models.
- Good background in the banking sector industry with experience as data scientist or quantitative risk manager to effectively frame the business process.
