Overview
The PSA (Power System Applications) Integrator plays a key role in the development and implementation of mission-critical grid software and Energy Management Systems (EMS). This position focuses on designing and developing interfaces and web services to integrate complex utility systems within enterprise environments.
Job Responsibilities
- Play a key role in the development and implementation of mission-critical grid software and Energy Management Systems (EMS).
- Design and develop interfaces and web services to integrate different utility systems.
- Experience with Apache products, including Geronimo, Tomcat, Camel, ServiceMix, and Axis.
- Experience integrating with ESB / iBUS technologies such as Fuse ESB, TIBCO, and WebSphere.
- Experience using Oracle and SQL databases.
- Experience in developing pure Java-based applications and Java middleware tier business logic.
- Experience developing WSDLs and XSDs.
- Must have worked on Grid applications, including SCADA, ADMS, EMS, and OMS.
Must Have Skills
- At least 2 years of experience with Energy Management Systems (EMS) and Distribution Management Systems (DMS).
- Solution integration experience within EMS environments.
- At least 5 years of experience in ESB / iBUS / Middleware integration.
- At least 5 years of experience in programming with C, KSH, and Java.
- At least 5 years of experience authoring software for Windows and/or Linux platforms.
- At least 7 years of experience authoring software in C/C++, KSH, and Java.
- Expertise in PL/SQL.
- Experience designing and implementing integrations between enterprise and utility systems.
