Overview

Product Owner "Finance" with 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably Master's degree in accounting, skilled in Agile methodologies (certified), consumer finance, finance processes, project management, and inspiring change.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the Product backlog of the Squad (Features/Stories), ensuring it aligns with the Product Vision set by the Tribe Lead
  • Adapt the backlog to anticipate customer needs and market evolutions, ensuring timely delivery of competitive features
  • Create the User Stories / Features and challenge these ones with the Squad until everyone understands what must be delivered to do it right and fast in collaboration with the Scrum Master and the members of the Squad
  • Make product prioritization decisions by ranking Stories/Features in the backlog for the upcoming Sprints, adopting a value-based prioritization method to cover both build and run needs
  • Test the implementation of Stories/Features for the Product Release, ensuring that the delivery is viable from a customer acceptance perspective
  • Participate in the Life and Ceremonies of the teams, constantly sharing our Agile values and principles.   

Must Have Skills

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Preferably a Master's degree (with accounting knowledge)
  • Expertise in agile methodologie
  • Agile certifications
  • Must possess accounting knowledge  
  • Knowledge in consumer finance and contact center
  • Familiar with the Agile way of working     
  • Good knowledge of Finance processes
  • Knowledge of the department’s business environment
  • Skilled in Project Management  
  • Ability to make decisions, explain them clearly, and support change 
  • Ability to inspire others and foster commitment 
  • Fluent proficiency in English

Nice to have

  • Fluent proficiency in French and/or Dutch
  • Knowledge of One Financial System (OFS), e-invoicing, and payment platforms is a plus
  • Creative and innovative
  • Ability to see the big picture (helicopter view)  
  • Strong conceptual thinking skills
  • Negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Organized and methodical
