Overview
Mainframe DB2 - Application Developer with 5+ years of experience in Cobol and IMS/DB2. Must have excellent understanding of hardware, OS, networking, databases, middleware, and security procedures. Experience in MFE/EDZ, Agile methodology, and integration using distributed/mainframe technologies is preferred.
Job Responsibilities
- Commit to helping the team deliver a product at the end of each sprint, going beyond personal expertise to collaborate with team members.
- Focus on completing the sprint backlog, containing all elements that the team must deliver and whose sequence has been determined by the Product Owner based on the added value for the (internal or external) client.
- Adhere to scrum values: focused, committed, open, respectful, and courageous, while fostering close collaboration with team members.
- Engage in knowledge sharing, open communication, continuous learning, and a strong commitment to delivering added value.

Promote continuous improvement (e.g., market evolutions, working methods) to enhance the speed of software and hardware delivery and improve operational quality.
Must Have Skills
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Mandatory knowledge of common development languages used in the domain (Cobol, IMS/DB2).
- Excellent understanding of architecture (hardware, OS, networking, databases, middleware).
- Knowledge of methods, standards, and security procedures as well as development tools.

Preferable experience with integration using different technologies (distributed/mainframe) and infrastructure components.
- Development languages (MFE/EDZ).
- Knowledge of Agile methodology is mandatory.

Adherence to agile values: focused, committed, open, respectful, courageous.

Good proficiency in English and active knowledge of at least one local language (French or Dutch), with passive knowledge of the other.
