Overview
Experienced Labware LIMS Developer with 6+ years of experience and strong expertise in Labware LIMS configuration, customisation, and development. The role involves hands-on work with updated versions of Labware LIMS, including deployment, package building, system administration, and ongoing maintenance.
Job Responsibilities
- Configure, customise, and support Labware LIMS applications
- Work on LIMS configuration, customisation, deployment, and upgrade projects
- Support multiple LIMS instances globally
- Build deployment packages for Labware LIMS
- Perform system administration and maintenance activities for Labware LIMS
- Troubleshoot and debug LIMS applications
- Implement instrument interfaces
- Implement interfaces with CDS systems such as OpenLab, ATLAS, or other third-party applications
- Implement interfaces with enterprise applications
- Independently handle at least one full Labware LIMS implementation or upgrade project
- Provide Level-1, Level-2, and Level-3 support for LIMS applications
- Act as a client liaison and work in a customer-facing role
- Mentor team members and help build the team
- Create reports using a reporting tool
- Ensure compliance with GxPs, Computer System Validation (CSV) processes, and other regulatory requirements of a laboratory
Must Have Skills
- At least 6 years of experience
- Strong Labware LIMS configuration, customisation, and development skills
- 4–7 years of hands-on experience with Labware LIMS (preferably updated versions)
- Experience in LIMS deployment and package building
- Knowledge of system administration and maintenance for Labware LIMS
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for LIMS applications
- Hands-on experience with instrument interfaces
- Hands-on experience with CDS systems (OpenLab, ATLAS, or other third-party applications)
- Experience integrating LIMS with enterprise applications
- Knowledge of GxPs, CSV, and regulatory requirements
- Experience using reporting tools
- Good knowledge of Java, J2EE, and JBoss Server
- Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write complex queries in Oracle or MS SQL
- Experience providing Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 support
- Strong analytical, communication, and articulation skills
- Customer-facing experience
