Overview
Client is seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft Enterprise ID Specialist (IAM Engineer) to support the continued development and optimization of its Identity & Access Management (IAM) environment, with Microsoft Enterprise ID (Azure AD/Entra ID) at the core of a Zero Trust security model. Conditional Access, PIM, and Identity Protection are central Microsoft Entra capabilities for enforcing risk-aware access decisions, just-in-time privileged access, and identity-risk remediation
Job Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing scalable IAM solutions within Microsoft Enterprise ID (Azure AD).
- Developing and managing Conditional Access, PIM, and Identity Protection.
- Guiding the onboarding and integration of enterprise applications.
- Automating IAM processes and identity lifecycle management.
- Management and optimization of hybrid identity environments (Active Directory, Entra Connect/Cloud Sync, ISIM, ISAM).
- Implementing passwordless authentication solutions such as FIDO2 and Windows Hello for Business.
- Advising stakeholders on IAM, security, and Zero Trust principles.
Must Have Skills
- Minimum 4 to 6 years of relevant experience as an IAM Engineer, IAM Architect, or Enterprise ID Specialist.
- In-depth expertise in Microsoft Enterprise ID / Azure AD.
- Strong knowledge of Conditional Access, PIM, MFA, RBAC, and Identity Governance.
- Experience with hybrid identities, Active Directory, and Entra Connect.
- Knowledge of SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SSO federation.
- Experience with automation using PowerShell.
- Dutch-speaking consultant is an absolute requirement.
- Availability of approximately 50% to 60%.
- Ability to start as soon as possible and support a long-term assignment.
Nice to have
- Experience with ISIM and/or ISAM.
- Certifications such as SC-300, AZ-500, or MS-500.
- Experience implementing passwordless authentication, including FIDO2 and Windows Hello for Business.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Entra Cloud Sync and modern identity lifecycle automation.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and identity-security best practices.
