Overview
Experienced Java Backend Developer with 8+ years of hands-on expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST/SOAP services. Responsible for full-cycle backend development with a focus on end-to-end delivery and post-go-live maintenance. Strong command of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven, Docker, and Jenkins. Skilled in code review, deployment, and repository management on Azure. Proven ability to analyze complex issues and extract actionable insights. Excellent communication skills and experience working directly with customers in Agile environments. Strong problem-solving mindset; banking domain knowledge is a plus.
Job Responsibilities
- End-to-end focus during development.
- Maintenance tasks after the project goes live.
- Ability to identify and summarize key insights from complex analyses.
Must Have Skills
- At least 8 years of professional experience in backend development.
- Strong knowledge of Java 8 or higher, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and Web Services (REST/SOAP).
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including deployment, repository management, and code review.
- Proficient in CI/CD pipelines, Git concepts, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, and Eclipse/IntelliJ IDE.
- Proven customer-facing experience with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Solid experience working in Agile environments.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
