Overview
IT Functional Analyst with 6+ years of experience, strong functional and technical knowledge of IT systems, and practical expertise in Scrum and enterprise-aligned analysis methodologies. Familiar with banking and technical domains, fluent in English and French/Dutch, skilled in bridging business requirements and IT solutions to ensure effective system delivery.
Job Responsibilities
- Accompany the business analyst and client in defining solutions; propose suitable alternatives aligned with enterprise architecture, strategy, and cost/benefit.
- Ensure client understanding and adoption of enterprise rules and standards (architecture, security, etc.).
- Collaborate with architects to define the solution architecture.
- Work closely with the project manager, asset manager, and product owner.
- Act as liaison between client, business analyst, and asset teams; coordinate asset teams to ensure a unified view and clear understanding of client needs.
- Elaborate the selected solution and translate business requirements into detailed functional requirements.
- Align with involved assets on functional responsibilities.
- Design the application solution and identify impacts on application components per architecture.
- Align with technical teams to define their specific requirements.
- Follow up on development and testing to ensure alignment with functional specifications.
- Provide technical definitions for shared components (queues, security, integration layers, etc.).
- Support suppliers during development, integration, and assembly testing (I&AT).
- Analyse defects during testing phases.
- Support release and deployment teams across environments.
- Provide post-production support to operational teams and helpdesks.
- Analyse production incidents, coordinate resolutions, and maintain documentation.

In an Agile context, preparation, elaboration, and construction are sliced and delivered in sprints.
Must Have Skills
- At least 6 years of relevant experience.
- Strong functional and technical knowledge of existing IT systems.
- Practical experience with Scrum methodology.
- Familiarity with analysis methodologies aligned with enterprise standards.
- Knowledge of the relevant banking and technical domain is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English and at least one of the country’s official languages (French and/or Dutch).
