Overview
As an Enterprise Architect, your mission is to design and implement a robust, scalable, and secure architecture that supports the company's strategic objectives in the rapidly evolving payments landscape. The Enterprise Architect ensures the coherence and sustainability of the overall IT solutions and systems according to the enterprise strategy and in alignment with technology evolution, considering internal and external constraints (risk, cost, delay, etc.), and in line with the architectural practices, rules, and principles of the company. The Enterprise Architect is responsible for the design, documentation, and changes in reference architectures within his/her domain of responsibility. He/she contributes to the simplification of IT systems through continuous improvement initiatives and identifies necessary changes in the portfolio of assets and applications under his/her responsibility.
Job Responsibilities
- Define and maintain (parts of) the Enterprise Information Architecture, design architecture for IT Projects.
- Define and maintain the cartography of the IT-assets (as-is and to-be).
- Translate Business strategy and new objectives into (changes in) the Architecture.
- Advise on the adoption of new technologies and concepts to keep architecture in line with market and available technologies.
- Support on ensuring integration of the architectural methodology and other procedures in place, including project management and IT development methods.
- Design solutions, which respect projects milestones and budgets while making the current architecture evolving towards the target one as well as respecting Infrastructure and Security constraints.
- Do the follow-up of the realization; document and report noticed implementation deviations in order to feed Reference Architecture and suggest eventual realignments with the target.
- Perform certifications and homologations of solution architectures proposed that impact the domain.
- Lead the Architecture and Security Review Board.
- Guarantee adherence to the company’s norms and standards.

Deliverables: project architecture, asset architecture, reference architecture, IT architecture strategy, application portfolio strategies, application diagrams, system maps, service interfaces, technical interfaces, architectural studies, architectural principles.
Must Have Skills
- At least 5 years of experience in Architecture.
- At least 5 years of experience in the Acquiring, Issuing, or Payments domains.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience.
- Architecture certifications required.
- Hands-on architecture experience in: Acquiring domain, Issuing domain, Payments domain.
- General knowledge of the financial services sector.
- Experience with data architecture.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with cloud technologies and cloud package integration is preferred.
- Experience with API architecture is preferred.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- High level of autonomy, commitment, and perseverance.

Generalist with strong competencies in both technical and business areas.

Excellent command of English, active knowledge of at least one local language, and passive knowledge of the other.
Nice to have
- Project Management certification is a plus.
- Experience in Small or Medium companies is a plus.
