Overview

ECM/DMS IT Business Functional Analyst with 3+ years’ experience in DMS implementation and Agile environments. Skilled in gathering and analysing business requirements, modelling processes (UML, BPMN), and acting as a key link between business and IT. Experienced in data analysis, migration support, user story prioritisation, and solution testing. Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and communication skills. Fluent in Dutch and French with good English.

Job Responsibilities

  • Define business problems through in-depth analysis.
  • Gather technical and non-technical information.
  • Act as the primary intermediary for requirements management between business units and development teams.
  • Collect, validate, and document business requirements.
  • Analyse data, support data migration and governance, and model business processes.
  • Identify improvement opportunities.
  • Create functional specifications and participate in solution implementation and testing.
  • Support product planning with the Product Owner.
  • Prioritise user stories.
  • Ensure solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Organise workshops.
  • Define and prioritise needs, and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.

Must Have Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or a relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles and DMS implementation projects.
  • Data modelling skills (UML, BPMN) using Visual Paradigm.
  • Experience with Agile methodology (Scrum).
  • At least 2 years of experience in the engineering sector, with exposure to graphic and non-graphic document management tools.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential.
  • Fluency in Dutch and French with a good level of English.
