Overview
Cyber Security GRC Analyst with 8+ years’ experience in technology risk and controls across complex IT environments. Skilled in risk assessments, governance, and compliance, with strong knowledge of cyber security, cloud, and infrastructure. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, support regulatory requirements, and collaborate across stakeholders in banking environments.
Job Responsibilities
- Background in Cyber and Technology Risk and Controls across all technology domains, including cyber security-related risks.
- Strong understanding of technology risk governance, risk compliance principles, and management processes and controls.
- Experience working in first-, second-, or third-line functions responsible for technology and information security risk and controls.
- Hands-on experience conducting technology risk assessments on Linux, databases, web applications, cloud (Azure), and IT/security infrastructure.
- Highly detail-oriented and analytical, with the ability to grasp, analyse, and apply new information in fast-paced environments.
- Proven experience in conducting detailed technology risk assessments.
- Strong technical knowledge of databases and operating systems, as well as application, network, and cyber security.
- Knowledge of data, cloud, and asset security, as well as threat and vulnerability management and business continuity.
- Strong experience with banking applications, including knowledge of Business Impact Assessment and technology control assessments.

Experience in Technology Application and Infrastructure Controls Assessment, as well as the application of security controls in detailed risk assessments.
Must Have Skills
- At least 8 years of experience.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Expert knowledge in control areas such as Change Management, Platform Security, Operational Resilience, Cybersecurity Resilience, Security Monitoring, and Identity and Access Management.
- Good understanding of regulatory requirements related to technology risk governance and management.
- Strong process analysis and design skills, with the ability to understand processes and associated risks to inform control design.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage BAU workload and projects with minimal direction.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with strong collaboration and relationship-building abilities.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to communicate across various groups and levels within and outside the organisation.
- Agile and Scrum experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with ServiceNow (GRC module), Aveksa, CyberArk, Arcsight, and Nessus.
- Certifications such as ISO 27001:2013, CISA, CISM, CRISC, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Result-oriented, structured, and organised.
