Cyber Security Engineer specialising in Microsoft Sentinel with 6+ years of experience in cybersecurity and security operations. Leads end-to-end onboarding of application security logs in a standardised, scalable manner, optimises SIEM architectures and processes, conducts stakeholder workshops, and ensures high-quality, actionable telemetry to support detection engineering and SOC operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end onboarding of application security logs into Microsoft Sentinel SIEM in a standardised and scalable manner.
- Review and optimise existing onboarding processes, architectural patterns, and documentation standards.
- Conduct structured workshops with application owners to gather: Log source details, Data formats, Ingestion, retention, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure high-quality, actionable telemetry suitable for detection engineering and SOC operations.
Must Have Skills
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
- Experienced in cybersecurity or information security.
- Proven hands-on experience in security operations, threat detection, and SIEM platforms.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Sentinel.
