Overview
Cloud Automation Engineer, with 8+ years of experience, will design and deploy cloud-native workflows on Azure and AWS, develop Cortex XSOAR playbooks, implement CI/CD, work with APIs, data transformation, and multi-system integrations, apply infrastructure-as-code, and collaborate in Agile teams to deliver scalable automation solutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy cloud-native automation workflows, including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, AWS Glue Jobs, Lambda, Step Functions, and S3.
- Develop and maintain Cortex XSOAR playbooks, integrations, Python scripts, and automation modules tailored to process automation scenarios.
- Create cross-platform orchestration pipelines (e.g., XSOAR, Azure, AWS) to support data flows, enrichment, and workflow execution.
- Build reusable automation templates and components for repeatability and rapid iteration.
- Implement automation CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, etc.).
- Ensure all automations adhere to ISRM quality standards, security requirements, and best practices.
- Conduct testing, validation, and documentation of automation workflows.
- Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of the automation capability.
Must Have Skills
- Minimum of 8 years of experience.
- Strong hands-on engineering experience with Azure and AWS automation services.
- Practical experience building solutions using Cortex XSOAR (playbooks, integrations, Python automations).
- Solid understanding of process automation, event-driven architecture, and cloud orchestration patterns.
- Experience working with APIs, data transformation, and multi-system integrations.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and deployment automation practices.
- Ability to work in Agile teams and communicate effectively with process owners and technical teams.
- Ability to translate process requirements into technical solutions.
