Overview
BW/4HANA Application Analyst with 15+ years of experience in SAP BW/BW/4HANA reporting and analytics. Responsible for translating business needs into functional reporting specifications, developing dashboards, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders. Skilled in SAP MM/PM, BW/4HANA, BO, WebI, SAC, and Power BI. Experienced in validation, documentation, testing, and data quality. Strong stakeholder management and fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify and document business needs for reports and dashboards.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- Maintain regular contact with departments, directors, and stakeholders.
- Focus on reporting needs for maintenance schedules, immobilisation, transport plans, and HR work schedules.
- Conduct site visits to workshops when required.
- Provide input on reporting techniques through mock-ups and proof of concepts (PoCs).
- Validate developments and ensure alignment with requirements.
- Maintain and update documentation and reporting specifications.
- Coordinate reporting roadmaps with stakeholders.
- Act as expert point of contact for reporting and analytics.
- Monitor architecture consistency across reporting solutions.
- Contribute to test scenarios and data cleansing activities.
Must Have Skills
- Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or Economics.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in SAP BW / BW/4HANA.
- At least 3 years of experience in the railway sector.
- Relevant SAP certifications are required.
- Strong knowledge of SAP MM and SAP PM.
- Expertise in reporting tools: BW/4HANA, SAP Web Intelligence (WebI), SAP BusinessObjects (BO), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and Power BI.
- Experience in data migration and reporting transformation projects.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies (preferred).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Fluency in Dutch, French, and English.
