Overview
The Business Analyst operates in a major transformation environment, supporting the migration from B-One/FusionInvest to BlackRock Aladdin under Project Aladdin (Jerry Program). The role ensures the continuity and quality of client reporting through Coric, while managing data flows, functional impacts, and production support in a regulated asset management environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Collect and formalise reporting requirements from business stakeholders.
- Produce functional specifications (BRD, user stories) for development and configuration teams.
- Act as the functional bridge between business, IT, and external vendors (BlackRock, SimCorp).
- Contribute to the functional impact analysis of the B-One - Aladdin migration on existing data flows and Coric reporting.
- Identify data gaps and semantic changes.
- Participate in UAT campaigns for new data feeds.
- Analyse and qualify change requests on reporting templates (Layout Builder, Data Mapper).
- Write test plans and coordinate UAT sessions with business users.
- Maintain functional documentation and the Coric knowledge base.
- Provide second- and third-level support for production incidents on the Coric platform.
- Investigate data anomalies across the full chain (source systems → SQL Server DWH → Coric output).
- Collaborate with the DWH/SQL team to diagnose stored procedure issues and validate corrective patches.
- Monitor production runs and escalate blocking issues.
Must Have Skills
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or Applied Mathematics.
- Minimum 5 years of Business Analysis experience in asset management or financial services.
- Hands-on experience with SimCorp Coric is a plus.
- Good understanding of the asset management front-to-back chain (NAV, IBOR/ABOR, trade lifecycle).
- Familiarity with performance and attribution metrics (tracking error, alpha, benchmark, contribution).
- Knowledge of institutional reporting frameworks (UCITS, PRIIPs).
- Awareness of ESG data is a plus.
- Skilled in T-SQL and stored procedure development.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and Power BI.
- Ability to act as the functional bridge between business, IT, and external vendors (BlackRock, SimCorp).

- Fluent in French and English.
