Responsibilities

  • You will play a fundamental role of support to the Data Scientists: provide data that can be used in the creation of their predictive models, define and maintain framework to store the results of the models, monitor the performance of the models. 
  • Engage in feature engineering to extract maximum value from data, understanding customer behavior drivers.
  • You make sure new data that are needed become available in DWH. You launch and follow up on these requests towards the IT department, you help to clarify the requirements. 
  • You will develop or support the development of reporting in Power BI. 
  • You will also support the activities of the TV advertising team by creating the needed datamarts and feeding them into the TV advertising process.
  • Collaborate with marketing and IT teams to define data requirements and technical specifications for data provisioning.
  • You'll directly engage with our marketing team to define requirements (data needs, report layout, business operations improvement), and with technical experts (IT developers) to specify data provisioning needs clearly.  

Must Have

  • Bachelor or Master degree (or equivalent in experience) in IT, quantitative analytics, economics, marketing,
  • At least 5 years of experience in an analytical business environment.  
  • Strong knowledge of SQL (Teradata /Oracle)  – with experience in a business intelligence context.
  • Strong interest for Predictive Modeling.
  • Strong knowledge of database management and datawarehouse.
  • Fluency in English and in one of the following: French or Dutch.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Big Data tools (Hadoop, Hive, Python, Spark).
  • Knowledge of Power BI.
  • Strong communication skills and result oriented.
  • Dynamic, entrepreneurial, self-starter, constructive mindset and fast learner.
