Overview
Skilled and experienced .NET Core Developer with a strong background in building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of hands-on experience in .NET Core development and a solid understanding of cloud-based architecture, microservices, and containerisation with Docker. This role involves designing and developing robust REST APIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring code quality through effective testing strategies, and delivering solutions that meet client expectations on time and without defects. Experience with Azure, messaging systems like Kafka or MQTT, and Agile methodologies is essential. Familiarity with front-end technologies (React/Node.js), CI/CD tools (Jenkins), and project management platforms (Jira) is a plus. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are key to succeeding in this role.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure the accuracy of deliverables through quality assurance practices.
- Handle month-end closing activities.
- Address client requirements and focus on client satisfaction by delivering on time and defect-free.
- Design and build highly scalable, resilient, and performant microservices.
- Collaborate with application teams to integrate the microservices.
- Develop testing processes, frameworks, and automation strategies.
- Work with platform architects on software and system optimisations, identifying and removing potential performance bottlenecks.
- Document your work, especially APIs you create (e.g., Swagger, Confluence).
- Solve problems in a Cloud environment (preferably Azure).
Must Have Skills
- At least 8 years of .NET Core development experience (senior developer).
- Strong knowledge of .NET Core and Docker.
- Experience with .NET web development.
- Proven experience with REST APIs.
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC and Web API.
- Knowledge of Microservices is mandatory (hands-on project experience is a plus).
- Familiarity with messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, MQTT).
- Proficiency in Git is expected.
- Experience with development, debugging, and configuration in a Cloud environment, preferably Azure.
- Experience working in an Agile team.
- Strong command of English is required.
Nice to have
- Experience with React and/or Node.js is a plus.
- Knowledge of Jenkins and Jira is a plus.
