WordPress Developer
Overview
We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer. The suitable candidate must be responsible to ensure that the projects are delivered on time, with hands-on experience developing in front-end interfaces. We’re an independent digital consultancy with big ambitions. We have offices in Belgium, India, and the United Kingdom.
Responsibilities:
- Should be able to configure WordPress including new customisation.
- Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and similar libraries.
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications with extraordinary SEO.
- Experience designing and developing responsive websites for multiple devices.
- Strong understanding of PHP back-end development and the WordPress framework.
- Ability to convert comprehensive layouts and wireframes into working and compliant HTML pages.
- Write clean & coherent code and follow established coding conventions.
- Able to work independently and efficiently under pressure, against set targets and KPIs.
Job Summary:
- Looking for a WordPress Developer with good hands-on experience working with the latest front-end technologies.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science or similar.
- Good knowledge of PHP and front-end languages such as HTML/HTML 5, CSS3, SASS, LESS, and JavaScript.
- Writing clear, maintainable, and testable code.
- Must have a solid portfolio of WordPress websites under his belt. (links personal work required).
- Experience with Git and code deployment in multi-staged environments.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Good to have:
- A strong sensibility as a web designer.
- Keen attention to detail, able to turn designs into "pixel-perfect" layouts.
- A strong understanding of SEO.
