Overview
Project Leader with 10+ years’ experience in IT project management, PRINCE2 certified, skilled in Waterfall/Agile, and insurance services. Leads governance, defines scope, coordinates architecture, manages budgets, risks, and teams, ensures quality delivery, and drives collaboration and stakeholder communication. DWH and test management experience are a plus.
Job Responsibilities
- Organize project governance: stakeholders, resources, external dependencies, and communication plan.
- Identify and document project stakeholders.
- Establish the steering committee and ensure active participation.
- Develop and implement a communication plan, defining decision platforms and reporting.
- Collaborate with architects and business to define project scope, balancing value, cost, and timing.
- Identify opportunities and challenge business to avoid over-engineering.
- Track open points, decisions, and actions.
- Coordinate architecture activities and outputs, defining expected results and milestones.
- Set up project budget and roadmap, including product breakdown structure and detailed work package estimates.
- Plan each project phase and consolidate budget.
- Track development progress and report on timing, scope, quality, and budget to clients and senior managers.
- Anticipate, manage, and communicate risks and issues; define action plans for each.
- Drive the project to meet objectives.
- Implement and proactively adapt the communication plan.
- Ensure stakeholders receive the right information at the right time.

Stimulate collaboration and engagement within project teams, encouraging initiatives and skills development.
Must Have Skills
- At least 10 years of experience.
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Sciences, or equivalent through experience.
- Proven experience in managing IT projects (application side).
- Ability to present and discuss past project management activities.
- Experience with multiple projects exceeding 1000 mandays.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong knowledge of PRINCE2 project management methodology.
- Experience with Waterfall methodology (Agile/Scrum is a plus).
- Mandatory experience in insurance services.

Fluency in French and/or Dutch, with good command of English.
Nice to have
- DWH experience is preferred.
- Experience in test management principles.
- Experience as a Business Analyst.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
