Overview
Product Engineering Lead with 6+ years’ experience leading data platforms and engineering teams. Defines architecture across Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, and AWS, ensuring scalable, reliable solutions. Drives delivery, standards, and modernisation while mentoring teams. Strong in data modelling, CI/CD, and stakeholder alignment, linking technical decisions to product and business goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Define and govern platform architecture across Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, and BI ecosystem integrations.
- Lead engineering delivery for roadmap initiatives, technical debt reduction, and modernisation topics.
- Set and enforce standards for coding, model design, testing, metadata, observability, and documentation.
- Drive platform reliability, incident response, RCA quality, and prevention actions with clear ownership.
- Mentor engineers, perform technical reviews, and elevate team capability through reusable patterns.
- Partner with Product/Business stakeholders to convert goals into phased implementation plans.
Must Have Skills
- Minimum 6 years of experience.
- Strong experience with Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and Python.
- Experience with data platforms: Oracle.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools: Bitbucket, Jira, Jenkins.
- Experience with orchestration tools: Apache Airflow.
- Experience with cloud environments: AWS (especially S3 storage, MBOX).
- Strong data modelling skills and affinity with master data management.
- Strong communication skills, with excellent written and verbal abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to connect technical decisions with overall product vision and business goals.
- Strong analytical mindset with a flexible, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.

- Familiarity with Cortex AI is considered a strong plus.
