Overview
Systems Engineer with 8+ years of proven business experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a solid track record in Windows Server infrastructure from 2016 to 2025. Brings excellent command of PowerShell (development/scripting), very good knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as Failover Cluster and Active Directory, and applies cybersecurity best practices in Microsoft environments. Experienced in daily L3 support, system automation, project participation, and documentation with knowledge transfer to level 2. Additional strengths include VMware, VMware Horizon, DNS, Webproxy, Firewall, MS Project, and financial applications.
Job Responsibilities
- Mission within an infrastructure division specializing in virtualized environments, servers and IT platforms
- Working primarily on Windows Server infrastructure
- The consultant may be required to coordinate inter-team work
- Daily activities management (L3 support)
- Participation in projects or mini-projects
- Improvement, reliability and automation of systems
- Collaboration within a versatile team (Windows, VMWare, security, advanced troubleshooting, etc.)
- Drafting of documentation and transfer of skills at level 2
Must Have Skills
- Proven business experience (8+ years)
- Team spirit, autonomy, rigor and versatility
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organizational skills and good interpersonal skills
- Compliance with procedures and the administrative framework
- Ability to write clear documentation and ensure knowledge transfer
- Fluency in French and English; knowledge of Luxembourgish is an asset
- Windows Server Expertise (2016 to 2025)
- Excellent command of PowerShell (development/scripting)
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Failover Cluster, Active Directory, etc.)
- Cybersecurity Best Practices in Microsoft Environments
Nice to Have Skills
- Knowledge of VMware and VMware Horizon
- Network knowledge (DNS, Webproxy, Firewall)
- Experience in banking or with financial applications
- Knowledge of MS Project
