Overview

PMO / Agile and Regulatory Portfolio Manager with a strong background in banking and financial services. The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years of relevant experience, a Master’s degree in Law, Management, or Economics, and preferably an Agile or Project Management certification. The role requires proven expertise in PMO and managing large programs, with advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and steer regulatory project reporting
  • Drive the Regulatory dependency check process
  • Set up reporting processes within the company (initially manual), including communication to tribes/functions, change management, and POC
  • Create a community with regular check-ins between Regulatory Owners and Portfolio Management Team
  • Participate in Regulatory Boards when necessary (e.g., major transversal regulations or projects with detected issues)
  • Define and implement an efficient process with all Regulatory Watch teams to identify the scope of regulatory projects and owners
  • Participate in Regulatory Watch Committees (NLC) and register/archive the (Delegate) Regulatory Owner
  • Quarterly, gather and critically challenge data from Regulatory/Initiative/Opus owners, ensuring standardization and data quality
  • Collect detailed information on problematic projects
  • Verify and gather data with experts and control functions for an independent project view
  • Consolidate inputs to create quarterly ExBo/ExCo presentations, including detailed reporting on problematic projects
  • Gather input from Regulatory Owners to create the first Regulatory Dependency Checklist
  • Maintain the checklist to ensure it is up-to-date and accurate
  • Annually initiate a general dependency check process for all planned initiatives in preparation for SAP
  • Contact new initiative owners to ensure they perform the Regulatory Dependency check
  • Inform regulatory owners if dependencies are identified
  • Support Segment or Function in managing their portfolio
  • Understand and challenge initiatives in a neutral way
  • Work within Portfolio Management teams
  • Assist in building and maintaining the company’s Portfolio Tooling

Must Have Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Master’s degree in Law, Management, or Economics.
  • Agile and Project Management certification preferred.
  • Experience in PMO and managing large programs.
  • Fully autonomous in PowerPoint and experienced in Excel.
  • Broad knowledge of the banking/financial services sector.
  • Experienced to engage with ExCo N-1 and senior management.
  • Fluent in English and at least one local language (French or Dutch) with good proficiency in the other local language.

  • Experience with regulation / regulatory projects.
