Overview
Full Stack Developer with strong experience in both frontend and backend development, and a deep understanding of modern DevOps practices, cloud technologies, and Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate is proficient in building robust and scalable web applications, with expertise in both NodeJS/ExpressJS for backend and JavaScript/TypeScript with ReactJS for frontend. You will have proven experience with CI/CD pipelines, and a solid grasp of cloud-native development, particularly using Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and Terraform. Your background includes working with DevOps toolchains such as Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible, and Nexus, along with experience in monitoring and reliability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Kibana.
Job Responsibilities
- Developing backend services and front-end web applications in a container-based approach using Docker images and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Encouraged to challenge, investigate ideas, and contribute creative solutions.
- Working across the entire architecture, from backend to front end, to design, develop, and support high-quality and scalable products.
- Contribute to enhancing the overall software development experience with a people-centric mindset.
- Support the IT organization by improving development processes.
- Provide coaching and training to development teams.
- Offer technical leadership to guide best practices and architectural decisions.
- Develop and maintain tooling to streamline the software development lifecycle.
- Help optimize the end-to-end value stream of in-house software development.
- Acts as a teacher and mentor, supporting team growth.
Must Have Skills

Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
- A strong development profile with frontend and backend experience.
- Proficient with CI/CD processes and best practices.
- Proven knowledge of cloud technologies.
- Thorough experience working in or with Agile development teams.
- Advanced backend development experience: NodeJS, ExpressJS.
- Frontend development experience: JavaScript/TypeScript with ReactJS.
- Advanced cloud experience: Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Terraform.
- Advanced DevOps toolchain experience: Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible, Nexus.
- Monitoring and service reliability experience: Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana.
- Experience with quality tools: Fortify, Sonar, NexusIQ.
- Design and methodology experience: Domain-Driven Design, Test-Driven Development, Event-Driven Architecture.
- API governance experience: Swagger, Swagger Codegen, API Management Platform.
- Microservice design patterns experience: gRPC, REST, Circuit Breaker, API Gateway.
- Experience of delivering in an agile scrum environment.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- High level of autonomy, commitment, and perseverance.
- Very good command of English is required.
- Knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a strong advantage for interactions with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of banking/insurance sector is an asset.
- Knowledge on Spotify Backstage is a plus.
