Overview
Data Governance Expert with 3-5 years of
relevant
experience, certified Data Protection Officer (GDPR), skilled in Microsoft Office, ARIS, Archer, Rally, SharePoint, risk management, and reporting. Fluent in French, Dutch, and English.
Job Responsibilities
-
Assessments
of DPE-related risks in various contexts (projects, outsourcing initiatives,
existing solutions, etc.) – aka DPIA
- Create detailed or synthetic reports on risks, structured and formulated in accordance with the company's standards and best practices in these areas
- Propose and / or validate risk mitigation measures
- Deliver DPE advisory and consultancy services to the company's organization
- Deliver services in the context of ‘data subject rights’ requests
- Support the organization in the management of potential incidents (personal data breaches)
- Develop and deliver data governance support in the context of various initiatives
- Establish and ensure adherence to the enterprise data governance, quality, modeling and regulation frameworks for data policies, standards and practices, both at the data, business and tribe level, to achieve the required level of data quality integrity, protection and compliance with the regulation
- Serve as a point of escalation for governance, quality, integrity, protection and data compliance issues
- Work closely with Business and Functional area leadership to improve the quality and value of core data assets
- Deliver DPE and Data Governance support in the context of AI Regulation related requests
- Work as part of the operational team to ensure that the needed DPE requirements are understood by both technical and non-technical people
- Deliver process documentation and supporting material (tooling, templates, training) for Data Privacy & Ethics, Data Governance and A&AI processes for both expert and non-expert audiences
- Understand drivers and priorities, with regard to Business, Security, and regulatory requirements

Must Have Skills
- Master’s degree in Law or Engineering
- At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Certification as a Data Protection Officer (GDPR) is considered an asset
- Excellent skills in using Microsoft Office programs
- Experience in process definition and documentation (e.g., ARIS), Archer eGRC tool, Rally (Agile), and SharePoint
- Risk assessment and management experience (compliance or audit experience is considered an asset)
- Global awareness of Data protection (information security) and privacy principles (GDPR)
- Experience working in cross-functional departments and teams
- Solid experience in Business/Functional Analysis in an enterprise environment
- Experience in change management
- Experience within the Banking and Finance Industry
- Excellent
