Overview
Experienced Data Engineer with at least 3 years of hands-on expertise in building and optimizing scalable data solutions. In this role, you will design and implement data pipelines using Azure services (Azure Databricks, Data Factory, Functions, Stream/Log Analytics, and DevOps) and work with SQL Server to ensure efficient data storage and processing. You will also leverage Python in Databricks for data enrichment, contribute to testing and DevOps practices, and support business analysts and stakeholders by delivering reusable, integrated solutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Usage of the SQL server.
- Implementing data pipelines using Azure services such as Azure Databricks, but also to some extent Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Azure Stream/log Analytics, and Azure DevOps.
- Implementing data pipelines or data enrichments with Python in a Databricks environment.
- Able and willing to interact with business analysts and stakeholders to refine some requirements and to present reusable and integrated solution.
- Able and willing to contribute to extensive testing of the solution, as the reinforcement of devops principles within the team.
- Able and willing to contribute to the writing and structuration of documentation.
- Experience with Power BI.
- Provide guidance and advice through clear reasoning and logical analysis, without making business decisions on their behalf.
- Focus on delivering product features that bring value, rather than purely technical solutions.
Must Have Skills

At least 3 years of extensive hands-on experience.
- Proficiency in SQL Server.
- Strong experience implementing data pipelines using Azure services (Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Azure Stream/Log Analytics, Azure DevOps).
- Skilled in developing data pipelines and enrichments with Python in a Databricks environment.
- Openness to learning and adopting new technologies (e.g., Redis, RabbitMQ, Neo4j, Apache Arrow).
- Ability to collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver reusable, integrated solutions.
- Commitment to extensive testing and reinforcing DevOps principles within the team.
- Ability to contribute to clear and structured documentation.
- Experience with Power BI.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Fluency in German, French, or Dutch is considered a strong asset.
