Overview

Business Analyst is responsible for providing functional support to clients, gathering and documenting business requirements, defining functional specifications, testing and validating new features, and managing key projects and initiatives within the financial markets environment. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to think creatively and perform reverse engineering. Excellent communication skills are essential.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide functional support to clients.
  • Gather and document business requirements.
  • Define and specify functional needs.
  • Perform testing and validation of new features.
  • Manage major initiatives and projects.

Must Have Skills

  • Experience in the financial markets environment, working with Front Office tools (Pre-Trade, Pricing functions, Market Access).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to think creatively and perform reverse engineering; strong synthesis mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to interact effectively with Core IT teams and Traders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, work independently, and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Interest in the energy sector and renewable energy is considered a strong plus.
