Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for providing statistical input into the design, analysis, reporting and interpretation of clinical studies
  • Influence clinical development plans, regulatory and commercial strategies 
  • Build and maintain effective strategic working relationships with internal and external partners to meet all of the business needs 
  • Identify, develop and implement novel statistical methodologies in support of medicine developments
  • Work across the entire range of drug development – from the early clinical development to the registration and marketed product support 

Job Requirements:

  • Masters' or PhD degree in statistics or a related field
  • + 1 years’ experience as a statistician in a clinical trial setting in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Tracking record of performance in an academic or industry setting (preference in oncology)
  • Understanding of statistical modelling and its application to real world clinical problems
  • Expertise in applying multiple statistical methodologies and technologies (such as Bayesian), innovative statistical thinking, and working and coordinating the work of CROs
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good capabilities in time management, prioritization, relationship building and maintaining, and influence in a team setting 
  • Know-how to explain novel and standard methods to scientific and clinical colleagues
  • Strong statistical contributions and accomplishments in clinical drug development with a broad knowledge of all phases of drug development (pre-clinical; Phase I-IV)
