Data Scientist

Job Description:
Support one of our key customers in pharmaceuticals, the Data Scientist role will be required to support in the activities of building a global Data as a Service platform exploring opportunities for service and business improvement.

The successful candidate would need to know how to drive analysis and identify, prioritise, and implement improvements and efficiencies, ensuring that the organisation derives maximum value from its services.

This includes recognising the potential for automation of processes, determining costs and benefits of new approaches and managing change or assisting implementation where needed

  • Experience in data mining
  • Understanding of machine-learning and operations research Knowledge of R, SQL and Python familiarity with Scala, Java or C++ is an asset
  • Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau) and data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop)
  • Responsibilities Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes
  • Undertake pre-processing of structured and unstructured data¬†
  • Analyse large amounts of information to Client trends and patterns
  • Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
  • Combine models through ensemble modelling
  • Present information using data visualization techniques
  • Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
  • Collaborate with engineering and development teams

Job Summary:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist.
  • Proficiency in Data Mining and machine learning.
  • Strong experience in Python R/SQL with knowledge of Power BI Tools.
  • Having deep learning NLP, Neural Networks is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
