Job Description:

We are hiring a highly motivated and skilled D365 F&O Finance Consultant to support the project implementation & Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead/drive the blueprinting discussions with customer business team (outcome based)
  • Prepare Solution blueprint for Finance process requirements
  • Prepare Fit/gap analysis for all requirements based on discussions with customer
  • Configure demos to be presented to customer during blueprinting and Sprint show & tell sessions
  • Prepare Functional design document for requirements/User stories related to Finance
  • Solution Design, Data model design for Finance requirements
  • Provide inputs for data migration and integration design
  • Participate in Functional and User Acceptance Testing as and when required
  • Support Testing team, training team with functionality
  • Work on Training documentation
  • Train the trainers
  • Prepare functional cutover plan
  • Support deployment and hyper care
  • Work directly with Client to implement D365 F&O Finance & Accounting processes, including but not limited to: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Credit and collections, Budgeting & Fixed Assets
  • Work collaboratively with other functional & technical project team members to ensure successful & timely implementation
  • Actively drive requirements gathering, analysis, design, implementation & testing phases of the D365 Finance module suite
  • Responsible for translating the Business needs into functional specifications, business process flows, requirement definition, application analysis within Dynamics 365 F&O
  • Assist the Client in choosing the appropriate solutions, along with alternative options and recommendations
  • Demonstrating the solution to the different stakeholders and delivering end user training
  • Work with clients to streamline existing Finance processes with D365 Finance and Operations Best practices
  • Assessing impact to the existing process in case of any new proposed solution or a bug fix
  • Document detailed functional specifications (in the form of stories and epics) in line with the agreed architecture
  • Support IT operations to comprehend the incidents raised by the business, assist them to fix it on priority
  • Demonstrate excellent consulting skills, including analytical knowhow, written & verbal communication & team participation
  • Tracking the new service updates from Microsoft & highlighting that to the Business & IT stake holders
  • Support regression testing to make sure that new functionalities if any in Finance are validated, and the operational continuity is guaranteed
  • Support IT team during deployment (finalizing Configuration deliverables, doing manual configuration etc)
  • Developing long lasting and high-quality business relationships with clients by instilling trust and confidence

Job Summary:

  • Educated to Bachelors/Masters
  • Total 10 + Years’ experience as Finance Consultant in Microsoft ERP
  • Possess 4 + Years’ experience as Finance Consultant in D365 Finance and Operations
  • Minimum of 3 full life cycle Finance implementations in D365 Finance and Operations
  • Must demonstrate knowledge and experience in ERP implementation principles, practices and methodologies
  • Must have experience and strong working knowledge across all MS Dynamics D365 F&O Finance-related modules, including:  Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, Credit and collections, General ledger, Budgeting and Fixed assets
  • Microsoft D365 F&O certification is an added value
  • Deep functional knowledge in finance (General ledger, Account payable, account receivable, fixed assets, Cash and Banks, Consolidation, multiple company management, multiple currency management…)
  • Knowledge in Trade Allowance Management
  • Knowledge in Credit and Collection Management
  • Knowledge in Budgeting and Project Budgeting
  • Knowledge in Project Management, Project Accounting
  • Knowledge in Expense Management
  • Knowledge in Finance Reporting Tools (Financial Reporting)
  • Knowledge in Inventory Costing and Accounting
